Margaret Atwood – CWWA Mini Birthday Symposium

18th November 2020

3pm – 6.30pm (BST) on Zoom

November is not only #MARM – the international acronym for ‘Margaret Atwood Reading Month’, but also the author’s birthday. To mark Atwood’s 81st birthday on 18th November and celebrate the vibrant research being undertaken on Atwood’s writings, the CWWA is holding a mini birthday symposium via Zoom. The event will includes talks by Dr Alice Ridout (Algoma University, Canada) and Dr Fiona Tolan (Liverpool John Moores University, U.K.), and an engagement showcase that gives six emerging postgraduate and early career researchers the opportunity to present their work on Atwood to a wide audience.

Attendance to the Margaret Atwood Birthday Symposium is free.
