I am Professor of Women’s Writing in the School of Cultural Studies and Humanities at Leeds Beckett University and also a founder member and former Chair of the CWWA. My current research includes work on dystopia, apocalypse and contemporary women’s fiction, work on ageing, gender and the cultural industries and a new project on ageing, the future and speculative fiction.
